Replaced my old 1999 factory TJ hood latch rubber anchor straps with "Daystar" brand synthetic "Anchor Straps"! They began to crack within 2 years! I installed this Quadratec Hood Latch Set with rubber straps about a year ago! So far they are holding up quite well...no cracking or dry rotting rubber anchors! Quadratec's genuine rubber straps makes for a more durable longer lasting TJ Wrangler hood latch! A lower price point too than Mopar OEM! 4 Stars! Thanks Quadratec!

Get your Dremmel ready with fresh hardware (not provided). I had some fit and finish issues, but moving the latch from the left to the right side seemed to fix that.

NOTE: No nuts or washers included. Couldn’t get the seized old ones off, which was the whole reason for purchase, as the bolt (with a %#^* round head) is part of the mechanism. Otherwise, fine.

Was easy to put it on and it look great!
