The brackets dig into the door hing badly when removing doors... Which is the point on these mirrors. The black paint flakes off of them like nobody's business. Why on earth do the plates need a rectangular shape that extends above the hinge? Only buy if you're okay with your Jeep's paint being destroyed.

Super easy install. However, one of the mirrors was so loose it wouldn't stay in position. The other was a little better but over 50mph the wind knocks it down. I thought I could fix it by tightening the nuts more but nothing seemed to work.

They do look really nice though, if they did the one thing they were supposed to do they'd be a great set of mirrors. They got other good reviews so maybe I just got a faulty set, but I'll be trying something else anyways.

These worked ok on my TJ. I was happy with them except for needed to constrain how far the doors open so as not to bump the mirrors; simple enough. But they did not survive a bout of hard weather...a heavy snow (for the Seattle area) and temps in the teens left both mirrors shattered.
