Reviews for BOLT Passenger Side J-Mount for 97-18 Jeep Wrangler TJ & JK
Took a whopping 30 min to install, in the dark. Came out nicely, though!
This review is not for the product although I love it; this for Quadratec and their customer support. BEST I'VE EXPERIENCED!
I ordered the Bolt Jack Mount for the passenger and unfortunately they sent me the driver side. I called their customer support, they were super nice. They apologized for the error, sent me a return label and send the correct item even before I returned the one I had, and I received it the next day.
I must tell you I ordered the exact same product from amazon 2 weeks ago, they made the exact same mistake, I asked for an exchange or refund, I returned the product over a week ago, still no refund,no exchange, nothing!
QUADRATEC you guys Rock!
really like this but would have ordered driver side version if I had to do it again because the jack fits / faces better on driver side than passenger side.
Really like this mount compared to the hood one I had before. I didn't take into consideration my windshield wiper fluid spray would be obstructed by having the hi-lift jack across the hood, so I bought the Bolt driver-side door one. I'm pleased with it thus far!
Easy to install, works fine
Nice mount. Like the other review, unless your step is off DONT BUY PASSENGER SIDE MOUNT. will rub on your jeep or hit door. Also bolts don’t fit 97TJ, found out after stripping one. Luckily I was able to put it on my JK. However I still have the step on...
If you have side steps, you won't be able to mount the jack low enough to prevent it from severely interfering with opening your passenger side door. If you flip the jack around, you can open the door ALMOST all the way, but you still need to be careful. Facing the other way, the bulky side of the jack will also dig into your paint. This could be solved with a spacer to move the jack farther away from the side of the vehicle, but I don't know where to buy one or have one made. If you have side steps, get the Driver's side version of this mount and save yourself some pain. I wish I would have known this before I spent the $$.
