Does not fit without major modifications on 2000 Jeep Cherokee XJ

Spring popped out after about two months of use on the driver side just waiting for the passenger side to fly out as well.

The pin and spring pooped out as soon as I installed it. Seems cheaply made, unfortunately, I don't know where else to buy it so it's on to number 2.

Don' waste your money and time. Even after very careful adjustment the plunger will just pop out, even after a few days of believing it was going to be ok. I purchased 4 and only one is still working but I expect it to fly apart at any time.

Just experienced the same as others --plunger popped out while adjusting the collar--very flimsy product.

Part broke trying to adjust the depth. The "plunger" depth needs to be set to install. It is so tight that when I tried to slide the sleeve, the "plunger" popped out along with spring. Never fully installed. 2nd Omix part that broke on first use.

Poor quality product or poorly designed switch. Either way, it broke as soon as I closed the door for the first time after installing.
