Reviews for Quadratec 12-Volt LED Christmas Wreath
The wreath is smaller than expected and the wiring seems cheap. When I went to install the wreath using the supplied zip ties, every one of them broke before I could get them tight. I will see how it holds up, but brittle wiring doesn't give me much hope. Certainly not worth $40.
I bought two and had the same problems with both.
I had to return it because the wreath had one solid cord. It did not have a detachable cord like they advertised. If I wanted to take my jeep through a car wash, I’d have to remove the entire cord and wreath, then re-attach.
Cheap ribbon bow that frayed and then completely blew off. The ribbon bow never looked good as it always blew up and never looked like a bow. I will replace it with a better ribbon bow.
The design and materials do not fully support the $35 price.
It says it has a quick release on the power cord near the wreath so you can feed it through your hood and hook it into the wreath. It absolutely does not have a quick release anywhere on the cord. I was forced to try to fit the cigarette plug from underneath and up through the engine bay. The space is about as wide as the plug and impossible to get fingers down into. I tied a string to the plug and tried to pull it up through the bay but the string pulled the wires out of the plug and now it's useless. This would be an easy install if it had the release on the cord like the instructions claim. I'll be glad to provide pictures of the instructions and also pictures of the wreath if anyone has any questions or doubts.
Only lasted two seasons before the lights went out.
Very disappointed. Ran the wires, attached the wreath and, unfortunately, the thing doesn't light up. I have to take my lumps for not pre-testing the thing before installing it but I've had such good results with everything else that I get from Quadratec. Guess I shouldn't be too alarmed for a $20 part. Even without the lights it looks pretty cool.
