I also bought the bar to secure the window. As instructed, put it on while the top is still on your Jeep. This was trickier to figure out, but when placed correctly, holds the window very securely. The bar goes on the inside of the Jeep, and the yellow part of the U goes on the outside of the glass (the black part of the U is inside). The ends of the bar are bent a little, so you can put it in place, and then ROTATE the bar and the U into a secure position. Follow the instructions, use the online video, and the storage cart will be very easy to assemble. The hard top is pretty heavy, so use two people on each side if necessary to lift the hard top off of your Jeep. The hard top easily rests on the storage rack, and is stable when finished.

Got this pretty quickly, and it was well packaged. The item, however, is pretty unimpressive. Since my top is already on the cart, I need to recruit another person to actually attempt to install this....but looking at it, I'm not at all confident that it will actually stay on the top when it is rotated to 'stand' on the cart. I was expecting more of a clamp, rather than an open horseshoe of a 'U' bolt to hold the window in place. Pretty disappointing, and may well be going back.
