I would have given 5 stars for quality but the instructions are very vague. I have factory door surrounds and the way the top slides into the channel above the door is perfect. Once I figured everything out I was pleased with the product all together.

Used mine for 2 Las Vegas summers (about 8 months) The sun finally dried out the straps beyond usability. I haven't found one yet with strong enough straps to endure the heat. My jeep is garage kept and not a daily driver, so I assume it would wear out quicker for those who leave it exposed. I do like that it fits the LJ so it keeps my dog in the shade and the headliner stays in the groove of the hardware very nicely. I'm now looking to replace it but cannot find just the canvas top without the hardware which I already have from my previous purchase.

Bought mine used from a fellow LJ bubba for $100.00, fit's better than the other half top does in leaks especially behind the middle roll cage bar.. I also have the wrap around wind jammer, (which does not fit well either, made for a TJ not an LJ, but keeps out a bit more rain). Right front corner leaks into the cab even though I did the exact same steps on the left. Left side strap broke on me 6 months in, but I still use it currently as a year round top. The side wraps above the doors are designed to fit with the padding removed above the doors which is a no go for me, so I just stuff it.

Just installed yesterday to 2005 wrangler unlimited. It's okay, but difficult to fit the top into the channel, as noted in some youtube install videos. Fit on the outside front corners feels sloppy, but not much choice, as all brands seem to have this challenge. Hope it doesn't come off, test drive proved okay so far. Allow for at least an hour to install headerbar and top, as it takes time to play with to make it work. Wish someone would invest in making a top with a few extra brackets and support areas, which would allow for a better fit and secure installation. It is what it is...

Needs more straps, doesn't work right if you don't have the factory padding on the roll bar.

Very disappointed that the header channel would not secure to this top. Not for lack of experience or trying, I assembled and installed a full top with door surrounds, windows and a frame for this Jeep. But was not able to secure this bikini top to to the windshield header as per the instructions. Reluctantly I had to return it.
