Unit looked good when I received it, but it leaked between the plastic connector and the brass coupling. Probably a factory error but unfortunate it made its way onto the shelves.
Tip for those looking at a new sender: don't attach the sensor cable initially and inspect both the thread joint and the plastic-brass joint while running the engine. No oil should leak in the outside or inside the connector.
