Reviews for Bestop Sport Bar Covers for 92-95 Jeep Wrangler YJ
This fit great and looked great. Install wasn’t bad at all. Really refreshed the Jeep. My old roll bar covers were faded and I had some busted zippers.
Good fit, good value, looks good & easy install
As others have mentioned, definitely a lot of fun to put on. Not. Warm weather, patience and a good squeezing pressure are a must. Definitely worth it in the end, they look much better than my 27 year old dirty mildew filled originals.
I Didn't realize how much how much these covers are essential to the jeep (at least for appeal and seat belt protection from getting the paint dinged up). They really gave my jeep a whole new look and go great with the Bestop Summer Combo I purchased as well.
A little bit of a challenge (OK, a LOT of a challenge) to get them zipped, but they wouldn't work otherwise. Had to trim a little of the foam pads in two places, but otherwise everything worked as shipped, and with the bikini top, windjammer & deck cover, gave new life to an old Jeep. Highly recommend. Just be patient installing, and make sure it is a warm, sunny day.
Perfect fit and made my 92 Jeep Wrangler look great. The adhesive strip on the padding seemed useless. For a perfect fit without wrinkles, make sure you have a helper to hold it in place as it is a very snug fit.
Directions say top must be removed to install. I did it with the hard top on but would have been easier with the top off. As one person said, I found it easier to put the foam in as I went rather than trying to get it all to stay in place as I went. In the end it fit good and looks good. I would recommend this product.
The color was great and the fit was very nice. It definitely took a lot of work to get zipped as it is snug. I also had to put it on half way and the re-do it just because getting the pads right takes some work. Once it is on it looks great, took me about 2 hours, so be prepared. Start by tucking the driver side vertical post pad at the top under the center bar section and get that zipped, then move towards the passenger side and then the rears.
Took two go rounds to get the pads that were made right but extremely happy when the correct made ones came in. I personally put one piece of foam at a time and zipped up the covers and this seemed to go easier than laying all pieces out and getting it to stay.
Bought as a gift he really loves them! Took a little time to figure out the foam placement but, after we figured it out, it took about 20 minutes too install!
