This item came primed so it cut down on my rebuild time.

Came primed, looked nice out of the box and send it in the be painted. It is noticably lighter and thinner than my original frame. During installation, there was an extra lip that needed to be grinded off to get the gasket to fit correctly. Then the wiper pivot holes were too small and needed to be enlarged. Side hinge mounts are not well aligned. Also no roll cage mounting holes so I'll have to cross that bridge when I get there...

Rough fit

Made in China of thinner steel than the original. Did come primed but the paint wasn't very thick. Hinge bolt holes aligned with my OEM hinges but I had to re-thread them. Bolt holes for the windshield wiper motor didn't align. I also had to do quite a bit of grinding on the window opening as it wasn't finished AND considerably smaller than my OEM unit. Frame also came with two 'ribs' on the front and my OEM frame only had one. Oh and finally I had to enlarge the holes for the windshield wiper mounts as they were too small.

The bolts dont align with the original hinge. Not happy about it.

Quality control issues. The spot-welded nuts for the windshield hinges were so far off that you couldn't thread the bolt properly or in other cases even see the nut threads at all. Very obvious welding errors. Secondly, the windshield frame was not deep enough and did not allow for the factory CJ-8 hinges to line up with the front and side bolt holes. The windshield frame is unusable for its designed application. Better used as a creative wall decoration.

We have had the frame since March, so I understand I can't return it at this point.
