Reviews for Seatz Manufacturing Indoor/Outdoor Carpet Set for 76-95 Jeep CJ-7 & Wrangler YJ
Amazing fit -easy - satisfied
Looks good for the price, just take your time installing and it will look great
Jeep parts
Worked well as replacement for 92YJ
Wasn’t sure exactly what to expect but, The price seems reasonable. The kit came with five pieces, Front, under seat, rear bed and two wheel well pieces.(I wish it had included the tailgate piece). In the box it also came with a strip of Velcro and a razor blade. The Velcro really does work to secure this rug. The carpet itself has Velcro tabs sewn on it but, the Velcro will stick to any part of this carpet. All of the pieces fit in place very well, But you will need to make all of the holes yourself (I heated up a screwdriver with a torch to burn holes for all of my bolts. I guess I could’ve use the soldering gun.)I knew from the description this wasn’t a plush carpet, it’s more like a thick piece of felt but all in all I am very satisfied with the product especially being considerably lower cost than competitors.
Very satisfied with carpet. Molded and went in nice.Review said it takes 3 to 5 hours for install. But, with taking the seats and all out and then back in it took my wife and I about 7 hours. It looks great.
I ordered this carpet set for my YJ and could not be happier. The pieces fit really well. It takes a while to install, you have to cut your own holes to put the chairs and console back in. Velcro works really well. See pic above
For the price, I don't think you can beat it. This is not a contour drop in replacement. It is a heavy felt. When I first opened the box, I was a little disappointed becuase it did not look anything like one one I pulled out. I removed all of the seats and after installing with extra velcro and taking the time to fit the carpet it looks pretty good. Once th seats are back in, it looks good. This takes some time to install and to get it to look right.
SATISFIED LOOKS GOOD! HAVE NOT INSTALLED IT YET!
6 out of 10. Looks good once installed but it IS NOT specifically cut for a YJ. No manufacturer cuts for the roll bars at the rear of the Jeep, the carpet does not cover the tub above the wheel wells, and you have to do some cutting around the gear shift. With some patience and minor cutting/fitment, it looks good.
