Reviews for OMIX 19107.03 Windshield Washer Reservoir Assembly for 72-86 Jeep CJ
good fit
Great fit and pump was easy to install, Minus one star because the cap is a little too small and split the second time I snapped it down. a replacement cap was almost impossible to find as AMC is a different size than GM or Ford.
Like another reviewer, I had to use a deep socket to get the pointed filter nut installed. Used the grommet that was in the reservoir, and tossed the one that came with the pump. There were no instructions, so I had to call Quadratec and Omix-Ada to learn which terminal on the pump was +12v and which was ground. (One closest to the hose nipple is +12v.) The cap for the reservoir is REALLY tight. Once sorted and installed, it fit great and works fantastic.
Well-made pieces, but adjustment is required. The reservoir is ready to mount and comes with a rubber pump seal installed. The pump unit also comes with a rubber seal, of a different size and it doesn't fit the hole in the reservoir properly.Absence of instructions leaves you to discern what to do. I removed the filter cap and nylon washer from the pump.Inserted the pump threads into the loose fitting seal in the reservoir. Using a 12" extension and deep-well 7/8 socket (into which I placed the provided tall filter cone) I screwed the filter cone and nylon washer onto the threads of the inserted pump (while holding everything upside down). This seals the pump body and filter cone against the slightly loose rubber seal in the bottom of the reservoir. It works properly and doesn't leak, but if you're not creative and patient this will be a problem for you to install.
