Reviews for Vertically Driven Products KoolBreez Full Top for 92-95 Jeep Wrangler YJ
Like the print on the mesh, makes it stand out.
Great look. Holding up great. Has not faded yet. Has been on for a few months now. Love it. AMERICA
I was looking for a full mesh top for my '93 YJ to help on hot sunny days and this definitely does the trick. I can install it myself in about 10 minutes. It's a good fit, too. Quadratec not only had the best price, they had it in stock and it arrived in a timely manner. Thanks, Quadratec!
As always quick delivery from Quadratec. This is my second screen top, my YJ came with one when I bought 2 yrs and 4 of the straps broke on it this year. It was pretty faded so I’m sure it had some age on it. I didn’t realize I’d ordered the long top to cover front and back but no big deal. I love the shade it gives you without giving up the topless feel. Pretty easy to install EXCEPT for the center strap that wraps around the roll and thru a loop on the windshield. The strap needs to be about 4-5” longer. It is impossible to attach it without taking the windshield loop loose. I had to lose none screw on the loop and remove the other screw then have a second person slide the strap that was fastened while I pulled to tighten the strap then the second person would replace the screw that was removed. A total pain. I remove my top and doors for the season so I only have to deal with it that one time. My old tops strap was short too but I did have enough to fasten it. If it wasn’t for the center strap being too short I would’ve given it 5 stars.
Live in Colorado and haven't had a chance to need to use it yet. Sorry.
I have bought 2 over the past 3 years. I really like the full mesh top a lot, but both have not lasted nearly as long as a Best Top bikini top. The straps quickly get weather beaten and become brittle and break easy. I Live in New Mexico. I would but again if VDP would upgrade the straps somehow. Otherwise, I think Best Top is getting my hard earned dollars.
I purchased this bikini top a couple of years ago. At that time, I used it for a couple of months until the rear strap snapped. Quadratec replaced it and sent another one. After receiving it, it was too cold to use so I waited for the weather to get warmer. Now after having it on for a couple of months, the strap broke again. Now out of warranty, I'm left with a worthless top. I was nice while it lasted but it appears made of poor quality.
