One of the other questions was what bushing kit fits the OME leaf springs. The response pointed to a generic page of bushings. That is not helpful. Can you please specify which of those kits is applicable. Specifically for the front bushing as it is much larger than OEM
OE rubber leaf spring bushings are used to isolate road noise. Install original bushings from OE springs if they are in good condition, or source new OE bushings. Here are the main eye(larger) bushings. Here are the shackle end bushing. Thank you for the question.
One of the reviewers said that I would need new rear leaf spring shackles with this kit. Is that because the factory shackles will not fit, or is the replacement of shackles only recommended due to wear and tear. (There are a lot of fancy shackles on this site. Thought I should double check before install.)
Old Man Emu lifts are designed for use with OE Style shackles and they should be replaced if they are needed from wear and tear. Basic one inch lift shackles using OE style bushings should be compatible as well.
