Reviews for Old Man Emu 2930 Front Coil Spring Pair for 84-01 Jeep Cherokee XJ & 93-98 Grand Cherokee ZJ with 4.0L
I installed 745 lb rear springs in my 01' XJ and with the factory front spring, it is too low in the front. I installed these, which raise the ht by 1.75" and the XJ rides mostly level. Worked great. You will need to install new front brake lines that are made for a mild lift.
Perfect stance on 98 Cherokee.
These springs gave me about a 2" lift from stock on my XJ with factory bumper. Great quality construction and great ride. Installation took about 2 hours.
Had these installed along with new shocks on my 1995 Cherokee XJ. Lift height achieved is as advertised and I'm really impressed with the ride quality, a marked improvement over the original OEM setup. With coil springs installed (including new isolators installed OVER originals) I now measure 19 3/4" from hub center to bottom of wheel well.
Vast improvement over my sacked out stock springs and just the right amount of lift. Plus the ride is much improved
Excellent product. A 1.75" coil spring spacer is needed with the 5" factory spacer for a level ride height with a front Arb bumper and winch.
Much stiffer than the stock springs on my Cherokee and the ride quality is much better now. Actual lift height for me was actually closer to 2 inches. I now measure about 19.25" from the center of the wheel to the bottom of the fender flare. The finish on them seems very durable - my coil compressors didn't damage it at all.
