I absolutely love the simplicity of this bumper. I’m a “less is more” kind of guy, and this bumper is exactly that. The price is a bargain for how nice the bumper is. However, I did find the instructions to be confusing and I have extra mounting holes that my Jeep frame didn’t have mounting locations for. The lower tabs on the bumper weren’t quite the correct angle to mount to the bottom of my frame so bolting it was aggravating. The build quality is excellent, though. Just a little disappointed how time consuming it was to mount versus my front bumper (which took about 10 minutes from the start of removing the old bumper to completion), it took about an hour and a half and I only could find mounting locations for 6 bolts out of the 10 or so that I received.

Build and finish seems ok. However I wouldn't recommend this unless you are willing to do some fab work. On my 91' YJ the ears on the bottom aren't the correct distance from the holes on the bumper. So the bumper won't go high enough to allow the bolts to engage the bumper almost a 1/2 inch or so. I bent the ears down with a ball peen this allows one bolt on the driver side, but could never get the passenger side to bolt in at all. Even with all that this bumper sits about an inch above the rear cross member on the jeep. Which didn't allow my stock spare tire to mount. I was going to just cut off the lower ears and paint so I could mount but after I figured out I can't mount my spare this is simply a no go. Sending back isn't a good option due to me paying shipping. So guess it'll go to someone on craigslist hopefully.
