Looks and sounds great! I did have to drop my skid plate and cut one of the old bolts at the converter otherwise the install was very straight forward.

Good product, sounds great on my LJ. Really the only way to install is to drop the skid plate. One thing I learned after install is it needs a different exhaust tip, if you have a receiver hitch. I bough a turn down from AZ for $9.99 and it works great. Would definitely recommend but maybe Banks could offer an option for a different tip for vehicles with receiver hitches.

Pretty decent fitment with only some slight adjustments to be made for my 05 Lj. This sounds pretty mean and it only drones a little bit at highway speeds. It has a nice growl to it at low speeds and can get pretty loud when you go WOT.

JUST ENOUGH RUMBLE. EASY INSTALL.

Came on my LJ when I bought it 5 years ago. Still in decent shape. Not a stock sound at idle, quite nice. It gets pleasantly loud when you're over 2.5K rpms. New lift going in which requires exhaust mods, so I ordered this GREAT cat back to replace what's going to be ripped out.

Fit well, not overly loud and great quality. Exactly what I needed for a rusted out stock exhaust!! The black tip was a nice touch and doesn’t take away from departure angle since it ticks up nicely to the fuel tank.

Couldn’t be more please! I installed the Banks Cat-Back Exhaust on my 2006 Wrangler Unlimited (LJ) with no issues. The instructions were clear to follow, and I spent some time watching videos on line of others installing cat-back exhausts on their TJ’s and LJ’s. I recommend dropping the skid plate (support the transmission beforehand) instead of trying to reach the bolts on the catalytic converter. The skid plate may seem like extra steps, but it will cut your time in half. Anyone can install this exhaust with minimum tools. Sound? Amazing! The Banks exhaust makes the 4.0L purr like a kitten. It’s not overly loud inside the passenger compartment or interferes with conversations. From outside the jeep, the exhaust has the perfect tone giving the inline 6 and beefier sound. I immediately notice a gain in throttle response and the LJ felt peppier all around. I highly recommend this product. It’s clean, low profile, easy to install, and sounds excellent. Because of my pleasure with this product, I look forward to the cold air intake and tuner I will be after soon.

Great quality overall, nice sound, exactly what I was looking for. Fairly easy install. As some people have suggested, you might have to adjust the hanger on the rear tailpipe section to get it to align with the front, and a proper tip angle. I had to bend it toward the rear to get the pipe forward enough so the clamp would hold. Clearances are good. Jack stands under the frame gave plenty of room to cut the old system out, then I moved the jack stands under the rear axle to fit the pipes properly. The exhaust tip ends short of the bumper, so it shouldn't interfere with departure angle.
