got this to freshen up a junk yard motor for my 94 xj, thoe motor was out of a 96 xj. so far its holding up great

This is short block gasket set and it comes with everything you need to reseal your 4.0L

I bought this set to be able to replace the front and rear main seals on a '97 Grand Cherokee. That part went fine. Then came time to put the oil pan back on. This is not a fun job with the Jeep on jack stands laying on your back. It is frustrating to get everything aligned. After 30 minutes of frustration I realized the gasket did not fit the contour of the rear main bearing cap. As I put the pan in place the gasket would pull out of position because the gasket was a bit too short in the curve. I cannot recommend this gasket set.
