Looks more substantial than the tie-down I ordered earlier. This appears more like the original equipment.

Thinner than OEM, but all and all a good refresh for your hood if you find yourself in need.

Appearing to be less rugged than the stock parts, these do have thinner rubber coverings over the two supports, and no rubber on the footman loop. But these are much better than the dried out, painted-over stock parts that came off my Jeep.

I’m giving these 3 stars presuming the one I got was defective and not designed to have Chinese lettering visible all over the hood support. The rubber coating also didn’t cover the entire exposed area as it did on the other support in the package.

Did not like that the bolts in the center tie down one are not part of the tie down. Very hard to install by yourself. The tie down and bolts should all be one thing like the original part. They look good when installed.
