It fits correctly, it is strong and was an easy install.

Great product. Looks great, and is very secure. It uses all the factory mounting points and screws, and you only need to drill 2 additional holes and it inlcudes the screws and nuts and washers for that in the package. Installation was a bit of a challenge only because of where some of the mounting holes lie, and it's a challenge to get your socket wrench down there and hold it. The screws on top are also a bit of a challenge to get in but overall this is a great product and I would highly recommend getting one. I would likento point out that the 1 star review makes it sound like you have to push the lock in then turn the key. This is not the case. Simply just turn the key then push the lock in and it pops right open.

I'm thinking I got a lemon. Inspecting after opening I found it difficult to open the drawer. I made sure the key was turned right, and pressed the button but it wouldn't open unless I used some force. Thinking perhaps it would perform better when installed, I was disappointed. Basically for the one I got it's a design issue. On top of the glove box frame is the lock bar. This is welded to the frame and is reinforced with a back plate. Here lies the problem for mine - this plate doesn't give enough room for the locking claw to fully open and release the drawer. I'm going to call on Monday and hope to discuss this with an install rep.
