I have had this console in my 78 CJ7 for 20 years or so. I have a hardtop, but just run a bikini top year round and my hard doors a few months years.
This thing is the best, and is a must for keeping anything valuable locked up. I have a nice marine amp and radio that are always secured and protected. I highly recommend them to anyone.

Well built and it fits great

It was vandalized heavily. Pried up at the edges and the lock drilled out. They did NOT get this thing open. I wouldn't use any other console.

The best there is does it's job . Thief tried and tried pryed and pryed but couldn't get in. But neither could I had to drill out the lock but that's ok I still have my stuff

Love the Console! Was the perfect way for me to get my radio out of sight and weather, plus having the security to lock valuables up. I used this in between some Corbeau seats. Install was a little tricky with the variations in the floor pan.

I'm glad I spent the extra money and went with the Tuffy. The lockset is of good quality and overall, it is not flimsy. I will feel comfortable walking away from my Jeep with valuables inside.
