This thermostat solved a problem with my Jeep. The old thermostat wasn't working anymore and the engine took forever to warm up in cold weather. This one works perfectly at the exact rated temperature. I should have replaced the old one sooner. I also installed a new housing, gasket, and hose just to be sure, and that made a nice overall job. I ordered all the parts from Quadratec at the same time.

Perfect fit, and keeps the engine just the right temp. Just finished a rebuild on my 99 with an O630 head that had cracked. Essential piece for such rebuilding.
