im running these in both the front and rear of my yj, good ride quality, be sure to remove the angled axle shim if using on front axle.

Used these for a 1980 CJ 7. Better axle articulation and way better ride quality than CJ springs. Unfortunately you must buy the overpriced OME spring bushings to go with them because the spring eye that mounts to the frame is a different diameter than stock YJ ones.

Easy to install, improved ride quality 1000% even with old shocks!

I used these all the way around and they worked great! Just be sure if you use them on the front to flip around the wedge so it fixes your caster angle.

Really nice 5-leaf rear spring. I'd say about 1/2 the weight of some other sets I've wrestled with. Caveats: No included instruction sheet. There is a red rust inhibitor goo inside of the spring eyes. That should be removed and the bushings installed dry, then lubed at metal contact points. The eyes are different dimensions, main being 1 1/2 ID and shackle being 1 1/4 ID. Order bushings accordingly. ARB recommends Moly based lube for the contact points with EMU bushings. DO NOT use moly if you choose another brand of bushing. Use what the maker stipulates. Choosing the 'right' EMU parts would have been much simpler if I had found the Master Catalog first, so DO go there before you decide what to order!

I'll keep this review short. This is my first set of Old Man Emu springs and they are by far the best springs I have ever used. These are soft and flexible and give a great ride. They don't sag, warp, or move around. I have owned many other brands of leaf springs and also owned many jeeps. I wish I would have bought these long ago! I used 4 of these springs for all 4 corners. CJ7 with rag top, V8, and winch. I got about 2 inches of lift from these so plan accordingly. You will also need to change your brake hoses to longer ones since these will give you some incredible articulation movement. My jeeps rides so much better and does not kill my back anymore.

These are awesome, improved my ride a lot and provided about 2 1/2" of lift after break in.

If you are going to be using these springs it will be alot easier to go with everything made by OME to complete the installation like bushings and shackles or you will run into fitment issues. These springs are narrower than all other springs.
