Just replaced the factory latches. From rusty latches to new stainless steel in black, it looks fantastic. I only wish they were rubberized on the ends so it would reduce scratching, similar to how the original latches were, but aside from that, fantastic and look and were great

looks great easy install

after 2 years of having these and replacing the old plastic ones they still look amazing and brand new the paint where the center hinge goes in does come off but you can barely notice it

These hood latches from Kentrol look great! The spring is strong and build is sturdy. Easily installed the set in about 5 minutes. Great hood latch for the price.

I have used several Kentrol sets on both stock steel and fiberglass hoods. Consistent manufacturing quality, fit and finish. The catch spring is quite strong, and I would suggest mounting the catch plate between 1/8 to 1/4 inch lower on the hood than where the stock holes should be.
