Reviews for JKS Manufacturing J-Venture 3.5in Suspension System for 07-18 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited JK 4 Door
Great lift, and worth every penny. The dual rate springs are everything I hoped they would be, and compliment the Fox shocks perfectly. The suspension is very tight when driving, and also when fitting on the wrangler. I am extremely happy with the outcome, and I am sold on JKS products.
JKS easy to install 3.5 all the way
I paid a little more than some other kits but I am really happy I did. Some of my Jeep friends with other brand kits like the ride better, smoother due to the dual rate springs and Fox shocks.
It really does feel better than stock. Only had it installed for a week and still need to take it offroad.
Product is A+ comes in premium packaging, and perfect color directions. Solid engineering. I have been getting compliments daily on this lift. I haven’t put on the fender liners, so the suspension is exposed and everyone loves it. Highly recommend!!
Waited to review to see how the 3.5 inch lift held up on the trail. The quick disconnects work absolutely perfect and after mudding slide right back on without any issues. The coils ride so nice on and off the road, absolutely NO stiff ride and off road they handle flawless. Just by the packaging it comes in you know right away you're receiving quality parts built heavy duty and meant to last. QUALITY A+
Very happy with the quality of this kit. The FOX shocks are the nicest I have ever run on a JK. Firm but not uncomfortable. The included "quicker disconnects" are a nice treat at this price point, since the Jeep is only a Sport. The adjustable front track bar is also a nice benefit of this kit. No issues running 35" tires on factory wheels with 2" spacers. I decided to buy some longer rear end links and not drill. If you're looking to buy a next level lift kit in this price point, this kit should be on your list.
JKS makes good quality stuff and this kit was no disappointment. I enjoyed installing this kit and would recommend it to anyone.
I’ve had this kit installed for a month now and the Jeep rides and handles great thanks to the dual rate coils and Fox shocks. Oh...and not to mention their sway bar quick disconnects work flawlessly. My only problem was no rear sway bar links. You had to drill a hole in the factory mount to raise the factory links, no thanks. Luckily JKS also makes adjustable end links that I was able to buy separate.
All worked well
Wanted to wait until I'd had it offroad before the review. I never did a lift before (not my first time replacing suspension parts, however). We did the work over Memorial Day weekend. I got a late start on Saturday (unseasonably hot here in Maryland that day, and my garage door faces south), finished up before lunch on Monday. Took our time, got it done right. The good: All the parts are high quality; I found the instructions mostly useful; stickers absolutely look lovely on my JKUR. The Bad: About those instructions - I loved when they told you what size the bolt head or nut was, but I wish it was consistent throughout the document. Likewise the tools needed list. I'd recommend coil spring compressors - we didn't have them and it would have saved a couple of hours of work. The ugly: It would have been good if they had included longer swaybar links in the back so I didn't have to drill new mounting holes. I'd gladly have payed the premium. The ride: My wife and I agree that on-road behavior is a little firmer than stock, but in a good way. She's also suggested that we drive it (as opposed to her CX-5) on the 7-hour trip to Cleveland next month. I don't think that would have happened before. Offroad? Loving the "Lifted Life"! The Fox shocks and taller springs made for a really enjoyable day on the blue trails at Rausch Creek last weekend. My skidplates are still thanking me for it! Bottom line: Would I recommend it to a friend? All day long.
