Reviews for Centerforce KDF379176 Hi-Inertia Dual Friction Clutch Kit for 12-15 Jeep Wrangler JK
In review I am confident that it will give me what I need
First I would like to say Quadratec service rocks. Reps and supervisors are cortious. I have bought tons of products from them, not one has come damaged. Now I would like to say about the Centerforce High Inertia clutch. I assume you will have different results depending on your ride. If you want to compare how it would feel, I have a 2014 jk 2 Door, 3 inch lift, 35 tires and 4.88 gear ratio, heavy bumpers, Tom woods 1310CV driveshafts. Compared to stock it's day and night. Some people say it feels like stock, meaning all JKs should have this from factory. But to me the stock clutch is anemic. This clutch is amazing. I just passed my 400 mile break in period and I can be heavy on it now and boy it's heavy duty. First, there’s more resistance to stalling at idle and right off idle, so there’s no need to feather the gas pulling away from a stop and less likelihood of killing the engine when starting off on a hill. The ability to keep the engine running at lower rpm specially in NY traffic so much that I even apply the brake and doesn't stall as if Im driving an automatic. At higher rpm the engine is less likely to drag going uphill, so you can go longer before needing to downshift.
The way all Rubicon Jeeps should've come from the factory. Difference is night and day. I waited 'til I had 105000 on the old clutch. If I had to do it over, I would've upgraded immediately! Can't explain it... have to experience it!
Buy this!!! This is a huge improvement over the stock setup. You can thank me later.
