That part worked fine. When I received it is when things went south. The splined end of the shaft that mates with the spider gear in the front differential is too large in diameter to fit the mating hole in the gear. This part will not fit your 2006 TJ.

As a previous review said the splines are too wide to fit. I measured the circumference and it is 1/16 larger than the original. It does not fit the 2000 Jeep Tj drivers side.
