These come as depicted, however there are some inherent downsides to them. The cable is a thin gauge and for some reason the plastic coating doesn't go all the way to the eye mounts. Over time, I'd feel too afraid that they were going to snap if I put too much weight on the tailgate. Additionally, please be sure to measure the distance that you need from bolt to bolt on your particular vehicle. Unfortunately I didn't do this and the cables were too long. I needed 16" for my '83 Scrambler, but these came in 18.75" lengths (as noted in the product description). The vehicle fitment list was wrong for my CJ in this case.
