As stated in other reviews product does not fit well but can fit with a little bit of work. It is very dense thick hard rubber and is too thick to fit also the diameter of the holes for the heater tubes are too small. What I did was cut off about 3/8 of an inch with a very sharp knife just take some masking tape wrap it around to mark where you want to cut I CAREFULLY cut mine with a very sharp kitchen knife. As far as the two holes just take a 1/2-in drill bit to enlarge the holes to make them bigger and with some very coarse sandpaper rolled up into a tube to clean it up. Put a little soap around the two tubes of the heater core and slide the seal on.

This seal is about twice too thick and had to cut it in half, it is very stiff and hard, difficult to install with out bending heater core.

The part is too thick for a 1977 Jeep cj5.

Ended up not using as this one was too thick.

As others mentioned, this seal is about twice as thick as it should be and the heater core tube holes are about half the diameter of the heater tubes. Sure, you can cut this thing in half and enlarge the holes but at that rate you are making your own seal. I would be embarrassed to produce or sell a product as poor fitting as this.

Doesn't fit an early model 77 Cj5..
