the hose itself is fine its small and compact however the end piece that locks on air stem for filling is absolute junk

this kit is convenient. But honestly you can go to local hardware store and buy the parts and put it together your self for less. That being said the things in this kit are very good quality. The tire inflation is great and self locking.
The one thing I don't like is there is nothing to protect the female connection that is on the pump. Dirt and trash can get in it and clog it. I had to make my own. I used a normal male air line connection a washer the sidenof a US nickle and some epoxi stick. I used the epoxy to fill in the hole in the connection then covered the treads to make a little grip. I used the washer to go between the male and female connection to block out more dirt. Was less then $5 to make it.
