What a great part to replace the factory straps on my YJ hard doors. They work well as a handle to close the doors, and of course it's really nice to have an armrest for once. They are able to be adjusted fore and aft to make sure they are right where you need them. I've been using these for a couple of months now without any issues. They should have been a factory part. Hard to believe I've put up without having armrests on the doors for all these years. No regrets for this purchase.

1980 cj7 jeep base model
This is a well built arm rest and the steel bracket is powder coated.
My jeep However was the certain CJ model that I had to enlarge the holes in the armrest that take the 1/4" #20 x 3/4" button Allen head screws (Not Supplied).
The instructions said to just enlarge the holes using a 1/4" drill bit.
I found it better to just use a 15/64" drill bit and reamed the hole out until the 1/4" Allen head screw fit and it had a lot less play.

Very solid product. Changed the look of the interior and is a lot more comfortable

Perfect fit, easy install and high quality sturdy piece. I just wish it came in matched colors and didn't have the manufacturer's name embossed in the armrest where it can print their name on my arm! Free advertising....?
