Takes a 2057 bulb
No issues with fit, or it locking in.
Gonna get another, should have done both.

Direct OEM replacement. Restoring a 90 YJ and on the last ones, the bulb bases rusted together to the fixtures. These new ones were exact same and easy to solder in.

For my 1990, the plug does not fit into the hole in the sheet metal back plate. Some trimming is required. There is another Dorman product 85898 that appears to be similar though I have not tried, but would allow the wires and socket to fit through the back plate. If you don't mind trimming, then the socket twists on and works fine.

Uses different bulb than 1995 OEM unit, just a heads up.
