Reviews for Mopar 82214333AB LED Headlight Kit in Black for 11-18 Jeep Wrangler JK

Have had these for a few months now and they are leaps and bounds above the stock lights. They're a great alternative if you're not a fan of half halos or halos but are a fan of teh J.W. Speaker style lamps. I'm pretty sure MOPAR licensed out to J.W., based on the labeling on the box which makes these even better as the styling is way cooler than the silver MOPAR LED's.

These LED Lights are great, it took maybe 15 minutes to install and the difference between these lights and the stock OEM are night and day. When I first purchased my 2016 Wrangler 2 Door I thought that either the alternator or the battery were bad because the front headlights were so dim, I took it to the dealership and they said that's the normal light output of factory lights. 800.00 later you are talking to one satisfied Front LED Light owner, I would and I do recommend these lights to anyone who owns a jeep. Here's a little bit of info, these LED's are even nicer than the one's that come on the 2017, 2018 Jeep Wrangler's. You definitely won't regret making this purchase. Very Happy Customer !!!!! Part Quality - 5 stars - Solid and well made.

Low Beam - 5 stars - Bright / crisp / clear.

High Beam - 4 stars - This compares to a good factory set of headlamps. I am a little spoiled and want to light up the night sky on high beam.

Price - 3 stars - I caught these on sale. So compared to most LED's they were a decent price. However, I have trouble seeing $850 worth of headlamps here. I have put Trucklite headlamps into 3 TJ's that performed equally as well for a lower cost.

Appearance - 5 stars - I know this is subject to personal taste. We have a Red Willy's with a black grille just like the other pictures in the review. The chrome factory lamps just didn't look right. So we chose the black lamps and painted the retaining rings black to match. I will try to upload a picture showing the black rings. Now I need a good grill insert to tie the look together.

Overall - 4 stars - This is WAAAYYY better than the original lamps. The low beams on this lamp are GREAT. They are BRIGHTER than the original factory halogen set to high beam and with the foglamps on. Our old lamps were so weak they appeared to be not working. The high beams add a little to the low beam output and are probably equal to most good factory lamps. I would expect for this price that they would put out more on the high beam setting.

Install - 4 stars - Easy plug and play - needs programming update which I was ready for with a VEEPEAK wireless OBD adapter and OBD JSCAN - about $60 vs $140 at dealership.
