The rubber is very rubbery and undeniably black. The screw holes at the ends of the seal go all the way through as they should. I love this seal. It is amazing- unlike my auto correct which is Mekong knee go back and correct almost every word.

This is the weather strip at the bottom of the tailgate window. It fit perfectly and was easy to put on. It already has an adhesive strip on it and you just peel off a plastic strip to reveal the adhesive. The time consuming step was removing the old adhesive so the new weatherstrip would adhere properly.
