Reviews for Rugged Ridge 11025.14 Rectangular Quick Release Mirror in Textured Black for 97-15 Jeep Wrangler TJ, JK & Unlimited
Simple to install. Mirrors do whistle however, not to loud especially with door and top off. Good mirrors for the price
Serves is purpose perfectly. Only two issues is the coating easily comes off which will likely rust down the line, and they whistle at any regular road speeds.
Easy to install. Mine came in a 2 pack. My huge complaint is the whistling. Didn’t anyone test these before they got the final OK?
seems well built. i wish i wouldve known it was a SINGULAR mirror. Had to order this twice
you could do better. never stays tight
The mirror bounces a bit in the wind, expected. It also will fold in while at higher speed if a semi-truck passes.
Does as expected once you take channel locks to the quick release and tighten it down. Also, a thin line of electrical tape around the rubber seal eliminates the whistling. The catalog says they come in pairs, but they don't.
disappointed to discover its only one mirror for 50 dollars when i could have bought a set of 2 for 40 i guess i should have read the details better . spending 750.00 dollars in one shot i should get a free one but as always i'm well pleased with quadratec
After having the "base unit" on the Jeep for about a year and a half, the base unit is starting to rust. The mirrors work great - they don't move at highway speeds - but I do use a wrench to tighten them down. Just don't like the rust streaks!
I have other products from Rugged Ridge and have always been happy with their quality. These mirrors are no exception. Installation was easy and took about 10 minutes.
The only gripe would be there's nothing in the description stating that it's only one mirror. I ordered two (one for my fiancé's JKU and one for my JK) expecting two pair. It wasn't until we received two individual mirrors that I read beyond the description to find the Questions section stating it's not a pair. Who buys only one side view mirror? Are there drivers out there that only need to check the blind spot on one side for lane changes or backing up?
