Great help with the kayaks!

Easy to install. Perfect for access to roof rack, putting cargo box on or taking it off.

Surprisingly very useful for loading top rack and built very strong.

The VersaHitch step is aesthetically unpleasing. The frame is bulky and the steps are the size of dinner plates. It’s overkill and looks awkward. I wish it was more of a stealth accessory and it contoured closer to the bumper with much smaller steps. It sticks out about 10 inches and is the ultimate shin-smasher when accessing rear cargo area. It’s also wobbly and vibrates inside the hitch when there’s no applied load. Otherwise it’s a cumbersome, bulky, ladder. I’ll probably take it off once I smash my knee up pretty good. The concept is great! It just needs a redesign or maybe two versions? Big and small?
