Reviews for Quadratec Maximum Duty 3.5" Coil Spring Suspension Lift Kit for 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK 2 Door
Review part 1(pre-trails) total time was 8.5 hours with a buddy putting everything in, this included a quick breakfast and lunch bite... pretty good buy for the money in my opinion, also went with the nitro shock option. Three reasons for a 4 and not a 5 star...little tough to put the rear shock mounting brackets into the bushings and shocks I think this part is usually assembled but I could be wrong there, second I have an 08 wrangler and the cam bolt washer was a problem during alignment. I'm not able to turn the oblong washer where it needs to go due to the control arm lip. This is not a problem with the lift kit itself I suppose just my implied thinking that it would all go together with OEM. Instructions were pretty straightforward but didn't say when to actually put in the rear coil springs as they did with the front shocks. Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase and would recommend it for a budget friendly lift. I'll write another review probably within a month after riding on the trails.
Very stiff suspension afterwards. But great lift kit for the money.
The rear shock pins will not fit a 2015 Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon. I called to verify before I ordered and they said there would be no issues. I had to return the rear shocks and pay a difference to order shocks that have the proper upper pin that bolts to the body of the Jeep. This kit also came with a 4" front bump stop instead of the 2" as described. Now I have no travel in the front suspension. I had to order a 2" front bump stop, re-drop the front end and install the small bump stop so I can have some type of travel before the upper jouncer and bottom bump stop meet.
The kit went in fine and was pretty complete. The problem I had was the front springs sagged by almost 3 inches in less than a year and 2 shock seals let go in the same time frame. I replaced the front springs and all shocks with another brand, all has been good since. I am still running the rear springs and all brackets / mounting hardware. I have attached a picture of the spring next to the replacement from the other brand (same advertised lift).
