Reviews for Quadratec 16400 0041 Maximum Duty 1.75in Front / .75in Rear Leveling Lift Kit for 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK
Works well with 33 tires
Good kit for a good price. I wanted to see what it would look like and be like getting in and out with a little lift, this was the perfect way to check it out. I'm really happy with the results. It took about 4 hours to install it, working at a leisurely pace. I don't expect the longevity that a full spring kit or even steel/metal spacers might have, but I'm sure I'll upgrade in a season or two, anyway. This was the ticket to give me some experience and decide if it's enough, or if I want more. Thanks, Quadratec.
Super cost effective way to level the factory "flawed" nose-down attitude and add a little lift. Very pleased with the results. Rides great and gas mileage not effected. PS..I did get it aligned after the install...just to be sure.
Price. Quality Quadratec parts.
Needed to stop rubbing on front sway bar
I really like this kit. Install in my ‘18 JKR was quick and easy. I was able to pull the front and rear springs with out even having to disconnect the front and rear track bars. Now that it’s back together it looks great and even drives and rides just like it did before. Next step wheels and tires…
really good buy for the money. looks great
Exactly what I needed to give my girl some swagger.
I was very pleased with this product. It was delivered the day after I ordered it so I was super happy. I had it installed professionally and everything worked out, leveling it out made it look so much better with the perfect amount of lift since it is my daily driver.
Very happy with this kit as it works as advertised, however there are a few caveats with installation. Despite the modest lift, both the front and rear factory track bar ends did not exactly line up with the axle tube bracket mounting holes, even with the suspension fully loaded. There was about 1/2” distance between hole centers that took some maneuvering with a separate jack under one end of the axles to make things align.
The last minor issue encountered was the presence of extra rubber material inside the grooves of the bump stop extensions. There are flat metal protrusions on the factory bump stop tube that engage this groove. I was unable—using hand pressure—to overcome this which necessitated a separate jack to force these extensions into their tubes. Both bump stops exhibited this extra rubber—maybe I got a bad batch. After they were seated, all was well.
Once installed, I assumed the alignment would be out of adjustment. To my surprise, there weren’t any noticeable handling issues and it drove well even at highway speeds. I decided to have it professionally aligned away just to be safe. Only a small adjustment was needed to the toe. Overall, very pleased with this kit. Total install time on the ground with jack stands took about 4 hours for the front and 2 hours for the rear. I’d recommend to anyone with a stock height Jeep that wants to install 33” tires.
