Reviews for Weber K551-38 38/38 DGES Carburetor for 72-90 Jeep with 6 Cylinder (258c.i.)
Great carburetor. Installation and set up was a breeze with the included instructions. Great upgrade from the Carter that was on my 258.
Heard good reviews.
so far so good easy set up seems to run good
the 38/38 is the one for 4.2L. This is the best carb out there. Had difficulties tuning and their customer support is excellent. runs like a tap
I submitted my 2 pics. I have the Weber 38/38 carb with Clifford intake setup on my 1965 Dodge Dart, 225 slant six. Be aware the Redline, rewashable, air filter's cotton filtering element deteriorates quickly and is very inferior to K&N filter. You can get a K&N filter to fit into the Redline housing, or just get a Weber 5 and 1/8" standard, round adapter to go to a larger breather for your Weber 38/38 carb, which I'm going to do eventually.
Add said it comes with a washable filter when I received it it had just a regular paper filter other than that a great product
