Similar in price to a used skid plate.

Bought this to replace the 20 yo skid plate on our 04 LJ. Well built and easy to swap out.

Better than stock and on sale.

Fit perfectly and a must have if your rear is rusted. Mine was 75 percent gone so I had to have one. I did apply two coats of undercoating to the piece but that is just because anything I put in on a Jeep gets two coats of something for protection. It was covered very well as is. I watched a video on tank removal and made it pretty easy. Took about 3 hours to pull and replace so not to bad.

slightly thinner than my stock 97 plate but that plate is also a weird design with a big hole in one side for some reason

when on super easy just be careful of the evap lines they break real easy I ended up using a brake line brass T and 3 pieces of brake line for replace the plastic T

make sure your gas line is not going to pinch I had a fun hour figuring that out

What a difference! Would defiantly say to make sure the tank is low, this is a two person job as it’s tough to lift the tank back into place and get it all lined up. I have submitted pics of the before and after I am super happy with this product! Defiantly get the tank straps, my old ones snapped the bolts as soon as I tried to take them off.

goes on pretty easy. wraps around the tank a little better than the stock one.
