Locks are very strong and well made. Had no problem drilling them in the jeep. Looks very nice and keeps hood secured

These things are solid! Heavy duty and will certainly take what I'll throw at them. Very easy to install as well. Highly recommend these over the stock "T" style hood catches. and they look awesome on my '92 YJ!

Swapped out my old rusty hood clips. Solid metal, well made with good hardware. Easy install. These work and look great.

Love the fit and finish! And the concept of a solid hold own solution made of solid stainless. Great look and rust proof. Very easy to install. But, the studs on the fender base portion twisted off at something like 30 lbs/in of torque! I found that at the joint, the studs were HOLLOW! Seriously! 50% of the material gone! In additon to the weld, there may have been a swaying action in the manufacturing process. I drilled in at a slight angle at 13/64 and tapped and replaced stud withe the cut-off portion of a 1/4-20 stainless bolt. Don't regret buying these, but be careful!

Didn't fit my 94 YJ, the top bracket was off by about a 1/3 of an inch. Had to drill out new holes and fill the old ones. Save yourself some $$ and just buy tj brackets and drill out new holes. Maybe someone screwed up packing them and they sent me the wrong ones who knows.
