Is this meant to go with the larger “J8” booster? Crown has this along with another master cylinder (that doesn’t come with a reservoir) and its confusing which one is the right one to get with their J8 booster. Looking for a proper alternative to the national back order Mopar J8 booster/master combo.

No. The heavy duty brake is for 13" diameter rotors. Thanks for your inquiry.

I am upgrading the brakes on my 2017 Wrangler Unlimited. Will installing this part require a change of the stock brake booster? The part number of the booster is 68069918AE.

This is only for factory installed heavy-duty brake systems that use 13" front rotors. For standard brake applications and 12" rotors use. 68057474AA. Thanks for your inquiry.

Will this work with a manual transmission? Specifically does it support the stock hydraulic clutch configuration?

This will not fit the stock booster that is found on the standard brake systems, this is made for Jeeps with the 13" rotors.

I plan on purchasing this at the same time as the crown front brake upgrade kit. Is it going to be ok to use this with the factory rear brakes until I upgrade them?

Yes, it will be fine to run with the OE brakes, the system will just need to be bled and topped off.
