Great.

First thing is first. These are great for adding 5.25's to your dash speaker enclosures. Second, cutting the metal band from the old speaker mount is part of the installation instructions, (John). Paired these with some Rockford Fosgates 5.25's. Also mounted the same speakers in the soundbar. And a new Quadretec replacement sub for the center console. Wow what an upgrade for a 2002 TJ Sahara . They have been in use for a year now. and couldn't be happier.

These make adding a set of 5-1/4"s very easy, but they add very little to the sound quality. They are not worth the price.

These do not fit a 2001 TJ (4.0 Sport) without modification - not a direct fit. you would need to cut out the mettle bands behind the dash that surround the OME speakers to make them fit
