I have a 2008 jk top, and 2014 jk with no brackets. Given this answer " These will fit the Unlimited Wrangler from 2007-2018, but will only work with tops that are originally from 2013-2018 due to bracket changes" what bracket do I need?

Is this just for an OEM soft top? I just purchased a used Bestop super top nx but the previous owner sold their Jeep with the brackets attached to the roll bar. My Jeep has never had a soft top on so I don’t have brackets for one. Trying to figure out if these are the brackets I need as I have all other hardware needed.

I have a 2012 JK and purchased a used JK soft top with hardware in a private sale. When I tried to install I could not attach the bow brackets where my old ones came off. A bit of researching and I learned that starting in 2013, the bow brackets were re-designed. Will this 2013-2018 bow bracket line up with the holes in my roll bar and allow me to attach the new top?

Does the bow bracket use 4 screws total then? 2 for the jeep cage/roll bar and 2 for the softop frame?
They are different screws but yes. Each bracket requires 2 of 6503259 and 2 of 06508913AA
I notice the bow brackets for the 2017 wrangler has 4 holes. 2 of them are used to mount the bracket to the jeep cage/frame. Are the other 2 holes needed at all? Do they also need screws to attach the soft top frame? How does the soft top frame attach to the bracket?
2 holes to mount to sport bar and the other 2 holes will be used to mount the bracket from the folding assembly it.
