It will allow us to keep the jeep top up out of the way but also install or remove by a single person

Hoist works as advertised. I have had no issues with it.

Love this lift! The directions and videos make it seem scary and difficult to put up but once you watch the install videos it's not so bad. Now just have to wait for hard top season! Well worth it!

Great product. Non traditional install in a wagon shed. Modified the rafters. Lift worked like a charm. Need to make sure the cables are lifting even during set up. Also ground was very slanted. Built a crude ramp to even it a bit.

The hoist-a-top hardware is great but the instructions are TERRIBLE! Every step of the instructions had incorrect information, from calling out the wrong sizes of tools, incorrect diagrams, pictures of hardware that did not match the actual product, parts of the build that had no instructions, parts that were required but have no purpose, etc. It is really bad. There is a YouTube video link in the paper instructions that do help but it’s for the newer version of the product and still lacking on the detail you need for this specific product. Great product but they really need to spend some time writing better instructions.
