This is a simple but very effective solution to gain extra storage. The rack is well built and rock solid. The installation takes maybe 15 minutes. Excellent work Quadratec!

This is a fantastic storage area. I purchased a Hard Rock and it comes with the roof bags and a recovery kit that fits perfect on this shelf. I was also able to store a blanket. Very compact, super easy install and does not interfere with floor sub.

Will make it easier to access other items inside.

It works well but it's a bit rattly with an ammo can in it. The screws at thebottom loosen over time, so be sure to check them periodically. I added some spray adhesive to the bottom to hold the rubber mat in place and glued some foam to the back side to cushion the ammo can from rattling.

Strong and well done. Pratical, nice looking and easy install. But why so heavy ?

Doesn't really "add" storage, but allows for easier storage. The ammo can is a must have addition.

shelf and ammo box both are very nice heavy quality. With a strap to hold it down rattle noise was minimal with mine.

My concern is with the bushings on the tailgate. The weight of the shelf, ammo can loaded down and the weight of a larger than stock tire most of us run has to prematurely wear on the bushings. I'm only running 32in tires but had to replace my hinges on a 2017.

Thats all I hear about is upgrade the tailgate hinge if running bigger tires then put a heavy shelf with ammo can on the inside. Dunno. IMO Maybe is using stock tires not such a concern.
