After testing temp sensor and wiring, found my gauge was bad. This was a direct replacement fit like OEM and works great.

Check your temp gauge first which means to take it out and physically look at the back of it and see if it has 2 resistors or 1. The Omnix is a 2 resistor temp gauge were as the Crown temp gauge is a 1 resistor temp gauge. My 95 jeep wrangler yj has a temp gauge with 1 resistor, yep learned that the hard way had to do it twice.

Changed out the factory gauge that was reading incorrectly with this new gauge and it wouldn't even register at all. Went into the trash.
