Will this work with 12 k smittybilt winch
The Mopar 82214786AB Winch Mounting Kit for the 2013-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK with the Rubicon 10th Anniversary Steel Front Bumper is specifically designed to accommodate a variety of winches. It should work with the Smittybilt 12k winch. However, there are a few things to consider. Mounting Dimensions: The Mopar winch mounting kit can support most standard winches, and the Smittybilt 12k has a typical bolt pattern (10" x 4.5") that aligns with the standard winch mount design used by Mopar. The mounting plate is designed to handle the weight and size of larger winches. Weight Capacity: The Mopar mounting kit is robust enough to handle the weight and pulling power of a 12,000 lb winch, but ensure the front bumper and frame of your Jeep are also rated to handle this amount of load safely. Clearance: Double-check the space available around the bumper and winch mount area to ensure the Smittybilt 12k winch fits without interference. Some larger winches may require slight modifications for optimal fit, though in most cases, it should be a straightforward installation.

Will this work for a 2014 JKU with a 2018 JL steel bumper and Stealth winch? I got the JL plate (101255) to work with the bumper but that wouldn't mount (JKU missing skid brackets/frame). Bumper appears stock JL/center holes for fairlane

Hi. I purchased this kit several years ago, but never had the winch and never installed it. I cannot find the directions for the install and you guys usually post them with most products. Do you by chance have the directions for this and does it include the parts list?

Why is the mounting of the winch off center to the drivers side?
The winch that Jeep uses and sells as Mopar and which they designed accessories around has an offset drum and spool.
