Reviews for Smittybilt 76892 XRC Front Atlas Bumper for 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK
Just finished purchase and install of this bumper. Quality bumper/ follow instructions for install and everything fit. Jeep needed some trimming at misfit points but the Atlas bumper was spot on. Would recommend...
Was able to purchase front and rear with a free set of quadratrac fog light free.. Was super easy to install.. They look so badass..
Good quality, solid bumper
Love the bumper! So far it has not disappointed me. One issue that I had was that the bolt did not line up with the hole for one of the skid plates. Also, the skid plates arrived damaged.
Very nice looking and solidly built product, instruction and part labeling are sub par!
Like all Smittybilt products, modification is required. You will need factory fog light extension cables. You will need to cut to get the skid plate to fit. It was missing some bolts in the hardware pack. These things aren’t advertised so trying to let people know here. It is a solid bumper and I look forward to beating it up. I wish that it was Made in the USA though
This bumper seems to be well made and solid. That is where the compliments end. The instructions I received were for the wrong model year. They included different mounting than what is available on my vehicle. They were also badly reprinted and hard to read. What I could read was unclear. The parts bag had many extra washers but was missing a few critical locking nuts. For the amount of money I paid for this item, I expected a lot more!
I rec'd the bumper & related parts about seven weeks after I ordered (most stuff was backordered). Although the instructions are for ASE (fractional) nuts & bolts, all the nuts & bolts I received are METRIC! The instructions are old and ASE; no instructions are in METRIC. Now I'm trying to find all my metric sockets, wrenches and extensions. Since all my vehicles (going back to 1988) have been METRIC, Smittybuilt should get with the program and include the instructions in Metric. All my Jeeps are Metric. I understand if they need to include ASE for pre-2000 models, but since then almost all vehicles sold in the world are metric. Once I finish installing everything and try it out, I'll update my review. This is a major issue; I don't want to carry two different sets of tools when I go on the trail.
