Reviews for Bedrug BedTred Premium Molded Front Floor Covering for 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK 2 Door
Fit and look easy cleaning
Easy to install.
Get rid of your carpet. Throw those mats away! This is a great product and although it's not going to fit perfect, it is dang well close to being perfect. It's easy to vacuum or wash off and they remove easily. One of the best upgrades I've ever done. I've had these in my Jeep JK for over three years and it still looks sharp with no fading! Buy them!
Everything
These things fit pretty good, not perfect, but perfect would be pretty hard to do with this thick of rubber. They look great. One friend thought that I had a spray in liner. I recommend taking out the seats (even though you don't have too) for a much easier install. You need to bend the matting to get into some small spaces, but being a thick rubber it is pretty difficult. Seats only have four bolts and a plug, so it's pretty simple and will save you some frustration. There is a cloth liner under the rubber which is not mentioned in the description and there is no "Heel Pad" for the driver side, it looks just like the picture.
Front fit great, but back did not. Area around the wheel wells did not fit well.
It is molded to CLOSELY fit. Looks a lot better than carpet. Be sure to buy extra self adhesive Velcro strips. Overall I feel the a product is overpriced.
After 4 years of having these installed, I'm still mad at myself for wasting my money on the BedTred... If you want something that looks like it was actually made for your Jeep, look elsewhere. Installation when the temperature is below 85F is a nightmare. They might remove easily in Florida or southern California, but not in the Pacific Northwest. The fit is poor and leaves gaps around the center console. If you use enough velcro to hold it down adequately, good luck removing it again without taking both sides of the velcro with it. There's also no access to your drain plugs without peeling it up. They claim it doesn't absorb water, but that's a lie. If you get water in your Jeep that makes its way under the BedTred, plan on having to remove it and let it air dry. The heat shield material is like a sponge, as is the material on the bottom of the mats themselves. It's especially problematic if you have the common Jeep door leak issue. I'm seriously considering just throwing the BedTred out and writing it off as a big mistake rather than having it continue to annoy me.
